angela Buccinni butch
Founder & director

Angela Buccinni Butch is the founder and director of The Muse Brooklyn and it’s professional in-house performance company ABCirque. The Muse Brooklyn was founded in 2011 and ABCirque formed in 2015.

Angela specializes in H2H acrobatics, aerial arts, bull whip, and fire performances. Her company credits include:  Fuerza Bruta NYC and international tour, Wayra NYC, Radio City Spring Spectacular, the world tour of The Aluminum Show, Pilobolous, Circus y, Bordel Total, Pyromania Show and many more.

ABCirque is a contemporary circus company that specializes in immersive performances; breaking the fourth wall and keeping the audience on their toes. As founder and director of ABCirque, Angela has choregraphed many shows for the company such as “Different Trains,” “Petroushka,” “Symphonie Fantastique,” “Cordis” and more. In addition to these modern performances, Angela has directed/ choreographed entertainment for well-known corporate companies such as Bloomingdales, Swarovski, and Nike.

payroll & Maintenance

Yoni Kallai started doing acrobalance in a beginners workshop in Israel, while studying at The Hebrew University. This started out as a hobby that quickly became a primary occupation. He found himself teaching people tricks and showing them that they can do more than they think all the time, not just in class.


larissa humphrey
events director

A Philadelphia native, Larissa joins The Muse as Director of Events with a background in fashion, nightlife, human resources, activism, and mind/body work. Larissa lives in Brooklyn with her cats, Dorian Gray and Klaus Nomi.


cassandra estelle
web manager

Cassandra Estelle is a contemporary ballet dancer and aerialist. She graduated from the University of Hawai'i at Manoa and the London Contemporary Dance School in 2012. She has worked at The Muse since its opening in Bushwick in April of 2015. In addition to managing all Muse websites, she specializes in wall running and harness/flying effects. She was an assistant to the actors in flying effects for Spongebob Squarepants: The Musical on Broadway. Her performance credits include ABCirque, Grounded Aerial, Arch Contemporary Ballet, On The Fly Productions, Ghost Robot Productions, Keiko Fujii Dance Company, The Poetry Brothel and most recently she performed in and produced, Spellbound: Muses of Madness.


casey bauer
workstudy & social media coordinator

A Colorado native turned crowd-averse New Yorker, Casey is a writer, drummer, and content strategist. You can usually find her behind a laptop making endless to-do lists, writing, and managing the Work Exchange Program at The Muse. When she's not at the studio, she's drumming for the New York Giants, buying last minute plane tickets, and fawning over animals with 0-4 legs.


rob williams
Technical director

Rob Williams has over a decade experience in film and television, and is now bringing his skill set to live performance. From Omaha, to New Orleans, to New York; he's gained the experience any stage needs to succeed. Helping each show become visually stunning is of utmost importance to help the stars shine on stage!


alisa mae
teacher coordinator

Alisa is an aerialist, dancer, teacher, and choreographer. She flies on dance trapeze, aerial silks, aerial hoop, aerial spansets, hammock, bungee, and harness, as well as custom-designed apparatuses. Alisa has performed contemporary, musical theater style jazz, experimental dance-theater, ballet, and ballroom.

Alisa earned a B.F.A. in Dance and a B.A. in English from New York University.   She has toured the world working for cruise ships (Royal Caribbean), theme parks (Busch Gardens), and national and international tours (Cirque Dreams, RudduR Dance, Timelapse Dance).  She was the Assistant Choreographer of Grounded Aerial and had her own dance company, Fingerprints.  She is currently a company member of ABCirque and performs around the city at venues such as The Slipper Room, Secret Loft, House of Yes, and of course, The Muse. 


Benjamin E Oyzon
Aerial Rigger & Safety Technician

Benny has been flying through the air as an aerial acrobat for over 15 years. With Science Degrees in both Theater and Engineering has now mainly shifted to the other end of the ropes. Constantly creating different ways to find the beauty in nature, and the magic in physics.
